To those constant complainers
Note before I begin
-I looked through this first page and did not see anything addressing the complainers about hall. If there is a post about this then I apologeize, just let me know and I will delete.
Now
I've heard that Rangers were "Nerfed" in the beginning of the game, I was not here so I can not back it up myself. I play a Ranger and as I "Grew" in this game I couldn't help but notice, nobody liked rangers, when I first started playing hall, nobody liked em'. All I have to say to the people that complain. Shut up, it's your turn to be regarded as the "Weaker" class now. Even in my view that all classes are equal, I believe that Rangers never really had a chance to shine. I agree that spirit spamming can be stupid at times, it's like Spike, soon \there will be a sure-fire way to counter them and they will be at the bottom of the list, just ride it out.

Or you could be like other pvpers and just play another class combination instead of trying to suffer through it? I believe thats why we have phrases like flavor of the month, due to imbalances within the game.
That doesnt mean those various imbalances should exist in the first place.

De Luci, that is such an ignorant statement. Rangers are one of the best anti casters. I mean, what class can do both ranged interrupts and snares while having a high AL against elemental damage?
Ranger is the only class with a decent protection against all elemental types, as well as a decent physical defense. They can also do significant damage to multiple targets with barrage and trap. Rangers can hold their own in UW with trapping groups.
Ranger armor: 70+30vs elemental, 70+30 vs elemental+ 15 vs one elemental
Warrior: 80+20 vs physical or 85 +10 vs physical or 80+10 vs physical and reduce damage
Elemental: 60+15 vs. one elemental type
Mesmer: 60+10 vs physical/elemental
Necro: 70 - against holy, 60+15 vs piercing

Its not that its just the Ranger char made the PvP not interesting anymore, like u put only one spirit so prot. monks, mesmers, necros can go out of the game instantly.
Kill the spirit ? Ye go ahead try!!
And 90% of players (guilds) who hold the favor all the time r spirit spammers.
Maybe u as ranger think it is fun or something, i play mesmer for allmoust 3 months now, i know what i can do, but u can be little more creative then spirit spamm

I usually play interupt ranger in halls. It's just my opinion as stated above (Maybe I should have worded it differently) that people need to stop complaining about nature's. How long has it been being used, few weeks, a month? I have a "Real" character. I don't play a spirit spam ranger that often because I don't like the idea of Oath, spirit spirit spirit, Oath, spirit spirit spirit.

People complain about Nature's Renewal because it makes about 40% of the skills in the game either useless or no longer worth risking. No other skill is that strong. Regarding rangers, the average Guild Wars noob sees the multitude of badly played rangers and assumes they all suck. Anyone with blood flow in their frontal lobes knows better: It's the players that suck, trying to do what rangers can't do. A well built and well played ranger can be an asset to any team.

Complete agreement.
Sure, you can get around Natures by not running enchantment/hex heavy builds. But, that destroys what would be a lot of fun builds. That
s why people complain about Nature's.
